Flight Tours From Page / Lake Powell

Experience Lake Powell like you have never seen before!

Located in the arid Northeast region of Arizona, the city of Page originally began as a temporary housing community for the workers constructing the Glen Canyon Dam. Page has since emerged as a young and vibrant community nestled amidst the natural beauty of Glen Canyon, surrounded by a sandstone landscape. The city is also just minutes from Lake Powell, a popular summer destination that features boating, water sports, and an incredible 2,000 miles of shoreline. Only 5 driving hours from both Phoenix and Las Vegas, Page is the site of one of Papillon's many launching points for air tours and activities.

Tower Butte is a massive, naturally-shaped pillar emerging from the earth. Isolated amidst a desert landscape, it is twice the size of the world's largest skyscraper. Papillon's state-of-the-art helicopters will fly you the daunting 1,605 meters upward and land right on the top! The 360-degree view of the desert from almost a mile in the air is beyond comparison.

Visitors can also relax in one of Grand Canyon Airlines climate-controlled airplanes for an unobstructed sightseeing experience. Feast your eyes upon Lake Powell's staggering 2,000 mile shoreline, or see the famous Horseshoe Bend for yourself. This nearly-circular twist in the Colorado River has been a subject for endless photographers and nature magazines and is instantly recognizable worldwide.

Perhaps the crown jewel of the Lake Powell landscape is Rainbow Bridge, an astonishing naturally-formed stone bridge arcing over the long-extinct river that sculpted it. Grand Canyon Airlines sightseeing airplanes will fly you over this breathtaking landmark - our oversized windows giving each passenger the perfect view.

Make a little time in your Arizona vacation for more than just sunbathing and swimming. Experience the thrilling height of Tower Butte, the immensity of Lake Powell, or the fantastical sight of Rainbow Bridge. Papillon & Grand Canyon Airlines will be with you every step of the way, providing a safe, comfortable, and expert tour experience for the entire family.
